This plugin stops loading of Open Sans and other fonts used
by WordPress and other themes (such as Twenty Twelve, Twenty
Thirteen, Twenty Fourteen etc.) from Google Fonts.

manually edit a commercial theme which may get
over-written the moment there is an update.

By stopping all references to google fonts allows me to
host my own fonts and there-fore keep all data flowing
to my site alone. As a hyper-paranoid blogger that
hates data of my readers being shared removing google
font references is a savior.

It should be noted though: This plugin is not for the
novice WordPress user as it does have the potential of
wrecking a good typographic theme.
